One of my favorite authors of books for children, Barbara Park, passed away on Friday, November 15th, 2013. Ms. Park was the creator of the Junie B. Jones chapter book series, as well as many other books for children.Every single page of every single Junie B book (and there are many – 29 titles in the series) – has lines that make me and my wife laugh out loud each time we read them. And we’ve read them over and over. Barbara Park has died, but Junie B. Jones lives!
Thank you, Ms. Park, for the joy you’ve brought to so many children and adults through your writings.
