We had a great World Cup Mouse book launch reading and signing at Tree House Books in Ashland last weekend. Thank you to everyone who showed up and bought books!
The store’s wonderful owner, Jane, said it was the best-attended author event the store ever had.
A couple of the children who showed up had heard me read at Willow Wind School a few weeks earlier. It was gratifying to see them again.
And today, as I was crossing a street near downtown Ashland, another child who had been at Tree House stuck her head out of a passing car and yelled, “Hey!”
Louie is out in the world, and, I guess, so am I.
